Osian's dunes face west across nothing at all, so the sunset here has no horizon clutter in it. We time the drive to put you on a camel about an hour before the light goes, which gives you the whole descent rather than the end of it.
Afterwards there is tea and a fire on the sand, and usually no other group anywhere in sight. Then the hour's drive back to Jodhpur, where you still have an evening.
