Osian itself is quiet; the country north of it is empty. The route takes in a stepwell that has not held water in decades, a salt flat that glares white after the monsoon has gone, and dune ridges with nothing built on them.
There is no dinner theatre at the end of this one. It is a driving-and-looking day, with a camel ride in the middle, for people who prefer that.
