Goa is a hundred and five kilometres of coast and two rivers, and the honest way to see it is to move down it rather than to pick a beach. This journey does that in three bases, using ferries and boats wherever the road is the worse option.
It takes in both coasts, both cuisines, the river islands and the estuaries, and finishes in the quiet north above Morjim rather than in the middle of Calangute.
Highlights
- Three bases down the length of the coast
- Ferries and boats wherever they beat the road
- Both Goan cuisines, eaten properly
- Finishing in the quiet north, not the busy middle
