Goa gets nine million visitors a year and almost all of them see the same thirty kilometres. This week deliberately avoids that: two nights inland, the islands, the sanctuaries, the khazan farmland, and coves with no road access.
There is still a beach at the end of most days. They are simply not the beaches anyone else is on.
Highlights
- Two nights inland in the Western Ghats
- Divar and Chorao by ferry and boat
- The Ponda temples and the khazan farmland
- Coves you reach on foot or by boat
