The day crowd leaves the dunes by about eight. What follows is the reason to stay — a silence with real depth to it, a temperature drop you can feel by the hour, and more stars than most people have seen. The tents are proper ones, with beds, bedding and attached bathrooms with running hot water.

Dinner is around a fire, breakfast is on the sand, and in between there is nothing organised at all, which is deliberate. We can arrange a guided star walk if you want one.
