Two long days on camelback with a walking component at either end, camping where we finish rather than at a site. There is no bathroom, no generator and no vehicle support after the drop-off, which is the reason the country you cross is empty.

You should be comfortable with cold nights, basic food and being genuinely far from a road. Everyone who has done it has asked to do a longer one.
